Services Provided

We are steadfast in serving youth and their parents; providing a wide variety of essential social services to over 1,200 youth throughout our community during 2010.  We believe our program of services and activities listed below not only improve the quality of life for our at-risk youth and their families but also improve academic success and increase coping skills, problem-solving skills, and family connections in very measurable ways.  By “community partnering and leveraging” with a variety of agencies throughout Yamhill County, our program provides the following services:

  • School to home liaison assistance & advocacy
  • Needs assessments, evaluations, and referrals for counseling and family mediation services
  • Mentoring, Tutoring and “Study Hall”
  • Creative afterschool enrichment activities
  • Emergency Youth Shelter, called “SafeShelter”
  • Best Practices Peer Skills and Support Groups for Middle/High Students
  • County-wide Street Outreach to community at-risk youth
  • Case management/ family support services – youth and family
  • School supplies, clothing, hygiene & other basic needs assistance
  • Comprehensive Summer programming
  • Summer youth entrepreneurial program – The Blueberry Project
  • Youth leadership development opportunities – including youth volunteerism
  • Alcohol, Tobacco and other Drug Prevention programs & activities
  • Evening “Drop-In” Teen Recreational Center
