FOOD RECOVERY – FRESH ALLIANCE
We are part of a community partnership with local grocery stores to reclaim high quality product. We make daily pick-ups from Roth’s Family Market, Fred Meyer, Albertsons, and Safeway. This program provides highly nutritious, as well as diverse food to our community members in need. Through the generous support of these local community stores we received 22,000 pounds of food a month during the first quarter of 2010. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Diane at dianel@yamhillcap.org¬†or (503) 687-1474.

FRIDAY FAMILY FOOD
Through this program we are able to provide two weekend meals to children and their families who qualify for free or reduced meals at two elementary schools in Yamhill County. Participating schools include Edwards Elementary School in Newberg and Wascher Elementary School in Lafayette. Currently 160 families, or 772 individuals are being served weekly. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Dave Rucker at daver@yamhillcap.org or 503-687-1471.
